Virtual IBUC 2020 in September
The IBUC Committee is very sorry to announce that the 2020 International Blaise User Conference, scheduled to take place in Limassol, Cyprus will not be held. However, to honor all the preparation conducted by the conference host (The Statistical Service of Cyprus CYSTAT) and all the papers/presentations submitted by the users, a virtual IBUC 2020 will be hosted in the week of September 14-17. CBS (Statistics Netherlands) will be the sponsor of this event.
Because of the collaborative nature of the IBUC and time zone differences, the virtual conference will be 4 hours/day and from 8:00 am EDT to 12:00 pm EDT (including a 15-minute break in the middle). You can check your local time here.We will still offer Blaise training sessions, as in all previous conferences. The IBUC Committee will announce the final virtual conference program on the official IBUC website by the end of July.
The virtual conference is open to the entire Blaise user community and free. However, a registration process will take place in July and August. The IBUC Committee will send a message with further details in mid-July. For already registered attendees of the IBUC2020, you will not need to register for the virtual conference anymore.
